Schmidt Sporthandschuhe GmbH is mainly a manufacturer of high-quality riding gloves. It sells its own brand “haukeschmidt”. One of the two names of the brand is Hauke Schmidt sen.,who was an internationally very successful jumping rider in the 60s and 70s with more than 200 wins in S-jumping. His son Hauke Schmidt jun. led the glove company Schwenkel from 1998 to 2012 and has now transfered over to etablishing his own brand in the market. Our glove philosophy is quality and function at affordable prices so that they are accessible for everyone.
